Acquired by the Baring family in 1903, Lambay Island — located just a few kilometres off the Irish coast and Dublin — provides an exceptional natural setting. These two families share one common ambition: to celebrate and reinvent Irish whiskey. Lambay thus embodies the meeting of tradition and innovation, through triple-distilled whiskeys whose finishing in cognac casks seals the alliance between Irish terroir and the time-honoured expertise of Maison Camus.
The final touch in the crafting of Lambay whiskeys is the reduction. It is carried out using volcanic spring water drawn from the Trinity Well, located on the island. Naturally rich in minerals, this water gives the spirit a more aromatic, subtle, and refined expression.
