A former working-class neighborhood, the district has preserved all its unique characteristics of yore. Well away from downtown, the area has always enjoyed a certain liberty, far from the customs and rules imposed by the bourgeois Protestant society. Every bottle produced by the distillery incorporates the spirit of this district: a warm welcome, the friendliness of the "craic," that moment at the pub spent with friends over a drink, and an unconditional love for Irish culture and its whiskey production traditions.
To tap its full potential, the distillery needed people with a solid background in the subject matter. A decisive moment came when they met their master distiller. Darryl McNally, who holds this key position, is one of the most respected figures in the Irish whiskey industry. Responsible for every aspect of production, his talent and passion have allowed the line to see the light of day.
